Peter de Smidt l Non-Executive Director
After many years as an Executive Director of Insurance Companies including The Hollard Insurance Company, Hollard Life, Hollard Commercial and General, Lombard Insurance and Infiniti Insurance, Peter now leads his own investment company which is focused on developing and supporting Specialist Insurance Underwriters. Peter has a passion for working with entrepreneurs and partnering with them to build successful businesses – something that has always motivated him throughout his career. His extensive experience in Insurance combined with early careers in Engineering and Merchant Banking have resulted in a unique mix of skills which are cherished by his Partners. Peter is a Director of a number of diverse Companies as well as serving on the Board of Welgevonden Game Reserve and as Chairman of Logwood Village which are non-profit Organisations that are close to his heart. Peter holds a BSc(Eng)(Civil) from the University of Natal, a BCom(Hon)(Economics) from UNISA, an MBA(First Class) from UCT and a Wharton AMP.

Guy Gore – Johannesburg/Pretoria Region
Guy heads up the Marketing team in Johannesburg and Pretoria Region and has been in the Commercial and Motor Insurance Industry for 31 years, of which 16 years were as a Broker. He has a comprehensive understanding of the Broker service level requirements and has a hands on approach to forming and maintaining business relationships.
